Fish. One of the least common hamlets is the golden hamlet. These fish are shy and do not like to be approached. They live in shallow reefs in water depths of 10 to 40 m (33 to 131 ft). They are predatory fish and they establish their territories on top of the reefs. Golden hamlets are one of about 11 varieties of hamlets. Because the hamlets can interbreed, it is unclear whether they are different species or just different color variations of one species. |
